Coulisse|INK's window covering product, Motionblinds, has collaborated with four interior designers to showcase its application at The Colours of Indonesia 2024 event held at Senayan City, Jakarta, on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

The designers—Yuni Jie, Joke Roos, Viviane Faye, and Sammy H Syamsulhadi—presented distinct works utilizing Motionblinds from Coulisse|INK, all under the theme "Summer Home."

Rogier Krabbe, Managing Director of Coulisse Asia Pacific, stated during a press conference that Motionblinds represents a significant advancement in window covering technology, ushering it into the realm of home automation.

These blinds can be operated via voice commands through connectivity with platforms such as Google, Apple, Amazon, Smarthings, and ABB, eliminating the need for a dedicated app.

Rogier demonstrated this functionality live to journalists, showcasing how the Motionblinds opened and closed in response to verbal instructions.

In addition to Rogier and the four designers, the press conference was attended by Jenfilia Suwandi, Director of Coulisse Indonesia, and architect Ari Juwono, founder of The Colours of Indonesia.

The installation of Motionblinds is claimed to be straightforward due to its wireless design, utilizing a rechargeable USB-C battery.

"Adjusting the window coverings to meet specific needs can be accomplished via a mobile phone," Rogier explained. Nevertheless, Motionblinds can still be operated manually if desired.

Coulisse is recognized as a fashion brand specializing in window covering products. Established in 1992, this premium Dutch brand was introduced to Indonesia in 2016 by PT Imaji Nata Kirana (INK).

The advantages of these high-end window covering products lie in their ability to seamlessly combine luxurious fabrics with complementary hardware, resulting in sophisticated offerings that cater to the tastes and lifestyles of the affluent.

Coulisse products can be applied in both residential settings, such as houses and apartments, as well as in commercial buildings.

"The inspiration for our products comes from nature, art, fashion, and design, ensuring that Coulisse products are always innovative and stylish, supported by the latest technology," stated Rogier.

Coulisse demonstrates this through collaborations with four interior designers. The window coverings from Coulisse are said to bring to life the imaginations of the designers involved in ID12, providing visual comfort within a luxurious and elegant setting.

Yuni Jie presents a culinary adventure with the design of "The Satsuma Pantry," a kitchen and dining area. Joke Roos introduces the "Seijaku Suite Bedroom," a sanctuary for rest featuring monochromatic colors.

Meanwhile, Viviane Paye showcases "Antrum Spa," an experience of spa relaxation within a cave that evokes tranquility. Sammy H Syamsulhadi captures the beauty of sunset in the bathroom with "Sunset at Batujimbar Bathroom."

All designs offer a unique perspective on the application of Coulisse curtain products, which are available in a variety of fashionable textures, patterns, and colors.
