Toshiba releases washing machine which claims to protect skin

Toshiba, the electronics manufacturer, has launched its latest front-loading washing machine series, the T25 and T21, under the theme "Cleaner Clothes, Healthier Skin" in Jakarta on Friday (13/9/2024).
These new washing machines are claimed to be equipped with innovations that can clean clothes more effectively while also supporting the user's skin health.
According to Arman Zendrato, the Product Manager of Washing Machines at Toshiba Lifestyle Indonesia, the Toshiba T25 and T21 models feature color touch panels that make them easy to operate and give them an elegant appearance.
The products are supported by a variety of features, the most important of which is the Ultra Fine Bubble technology. This feature generates micro-bubbles that can effectively remove stains from clothes, even at lower temperatures.
"This feature is effective in reducing detergent residue that can cling to clothes, thus helping to protect sensitive skin from potential irritation when wearing those clothes," said Arman, as quoted from Toshiba's written statement released on Sunday (15/9/2024).
He added that the ultra-fine bubble feature was specifically designed for Toshiba washing machines and cannot be found in similar products from other brands.
"Toshiba is very concerned about the skin health of families, which is why we have launched this high-tech washing machine product that can protect skin from irritation," Arman explained.
The Toshiba T25 and T21 models also feature a Sensedose system that automatically adjusts the amount of detergent required based on the weight and fabric type of the load. Additionally, they have Aroma+ technology, which helps keep clothes fresh and free from unpleasant odors.
After the washing cycle is complete, the machines can be left unattended, as the Toshiba T21 and T25 models are equipped with TSmart (IoT) technology, allowing users to control and monitor the washing machines from anywhere using a mobile app.
