The Director General of State Assets of the Ministry of Finance, Rionald Silaban, appreciates the development of the PTA Tower in the Cimanggis Golf Estate (CGE/510 ha) area, Depok, West Java. This step is considered a bold business move by PT Panca Terang Abadi as the developer of CGE amidst the tight competition in the property business in the country.

"I see this as a challenge for the Cimanggis Golf Estate area to build modern infrastructure and facilities so that there will be a high demand for office rentals for companies in Jakarta that want to have offices in this area," he said during the groundbreaking event of the PTA Office Tower as stated in the press release published on Thursday (3/04).

With the construction of office buildings in CGE, Rionald continued, it will open up opportunities for businessmen to open offices in Depok with premium facilities equivalent to office buildings in Jakarta.

Quoting research from John Lang LaSalle (JLL) for the fourth quarter of 2023, the office occupancy rate in the Jakarta CBD area reached 70 percent in 2023. This projection indicates that the occupancy rate stability will improve in 2024 with many companies looking for office spaces with better quality and affordable prices. The research also mentioned that office rental prices in non-CBD Jakarta areas are projected not to decrease this year.

The GM Sales & Marketing of PT Panca Terang Abadi, Albert Sanjaya, stated that the presence of the PTA Office Tower is expected to not only increase investment in the CGE area but also offer more than an ideal business environment for entrepreneurs and professionals.

"With the various premium facilities that we provide, this building is aimed to become a pioneer of a new landmark in the city of Depok. We are also optimistic about this project because amidst the global economic challenges, Indonesia can grow by 5.05 percent and one of the drivers of this growth is the property sector, especially residential and office spaces." he said.
